The Engineering Productivity team at Contentful is dedicated to making our engineers productive and engaged. We provide guidelines, frameworks, automation, and tools to make the development process smooth and efficient. Our focus ranges from setting up test environments and deploying changes to monitoring and observability. We work with technologies like Terraform, AWS, Node.js/Typescript, CircleCI, and Github.

• Lead a large team of software engineers to solve business problems effectively and deliver high-quality software.
• Ensure a smooth software delivery process, allowing your team to continuously provide value to our customers.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement in code, architecture, and process within the team.
• Create a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful team environment.
• Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of your team members.
• Work closely with our recruiting team to hire talented engineers from diverse backgrounds worldwide.

• Experience leading and managing a team of software engineers.
• In-depth knowledge and proven experience in software engineering that allows you to establish credibility with talented engineers.
• Bonus points if you have worked on and are passionate about Engineering productivity topics.
• Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and Agile software delivery, particularly in collaboration with the product team.
• Experience in recruiting and hiring engineering talent, and onboarding new team members.
• Care for teaching and mentoring other engineers and managers.
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to empathize and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
