(Senior) Consultant (f/m/d) ICT

MAI provides best practice solutions for the entire airport lifecycle, including bid advisory services for airport concessions, airport masterplan and design, operational readiness and airport transfer (ORAT), efficient and sustainable airport operations, optimization of aviation and non-aviation revenues, tailor-made training programs, as well as comprehensive airport management.

Currently we are looking for an experienced airport professional for the position “Senior Consultant (f/m/d) ICT ” to join our Business Development and Service Delivery Team.

Undertaking ICT consulting assignments as part of MAI’s project team or acting as ICT work package leader. Such assignments include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Development of ICT systems due diligence and audit reports
• Support ORAT projects as ICT focal point, taking over system’s SOPs/WI development as well as trials and testing & commissioning activities
• Provide support and act as ICT subject matter specialist, advising airport development projects and airports’ s ICT departments
• Develop and implement roadmaps regarding ICT master planning, digitalization, and ICT related airport commercial and investment programs, Develop of IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans
• Assist in planning and control (e.g. scope, time and budget) of complex airport ICT projects including system specification analysis, tender document drafting, etc.

• Master degree in information technology, computer science or similar. Alternatively, dispose of equivalent work experience in airport IT operations beyond the minimum required work experience
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in airport ICT with demonstrable exposure to airport systems and applications such as AODB, RMS, FIDS, CUTE etc. including experience in testing/commissioning and systems migration to operations preferably through an ORAT structured process
• Proven experience in implementing airport and/or technology related consulting projects, from planning to closure. Holder of PMP or similar international accepted certifications in project management is desirable
• Ability to work independently, learn fast and take decisions within a given frame of autonomy with high level of motivation and personal initiative. Strong ability to prioritize and work under pressure while being able to manage stakeholder´s expectations and delivery quality results of assigned projects and scopes
• Willing to travel extensively and to live and work abroad for extended period of time. High flexibility, resilience for and adaptability to fast-moving and complex projects
• Distinctive Problem solving competence, high communication skills as a requirement to work collaboratively with MAI´s teams and clients
• Excellent English language skills (oral and written), other language skills are advantageous, basic German language skills preferred
• Certified clean police record for airport pass application and police background check
