Summary & Role Information

As (Senior) Cloud Engineer (f/m/d), you are responsible to run the platform level, Guest OS, Virtual machines, Containers and Services on our Central Infrastructure Services Instances and landscapes. You operate, design, conceptualize and run container or virtual machine-based cloud architecture on AWS, Azure, Google and our internal SAP cloud platforms GMP and Converged Cloud. You will be part of an agile team running in SCRUM and Kanban mode. Additionally, you will be working with other related stakeholders and lines of businesses to understand everchanging requirements, additional features and innovation. We all together are responsible of meeting SLAs targets with our clients vertically (services ->compute-> storage-> network), driving implementation, quality improvement, automawtion and optimization of the PAAS processes and execution.

Experience/ Role Requirements

• 
  Strong knowledge & hands-on experience within GMP and GMP Services, Converged Cloud or CCloud services or hyperscaler like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Infrastructure as Code with terraform
• Strong understanding of cloud native technologies, cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Lead and co-work with team members to apply SRE best practices, establish standards and policies for continuous improvements
• Perform root cause analysis and produce reports
• Experience working in an Agile, fast-paced, DevOps
• Experience working in coding e.g. Terraform, Chef, Ansible or Python
• Experience/Knowhow of ITIL structure/processes
• Experience/Knowhow of Cloud IAAS and PAAS offerings
• Participate in the on-call duty
