Senior Android Engineer - Platform

As a Senior Android Engineer working in Platform, you will enable teams across SumUp to deliver a faster, better, more consistent and more accessible experience for our merchants. We empower SumUps teams to deliver the best possible experiences to our customers.

What you’ll do in this role;

• You will shape the core experience of the millions of merchants and consumers who are using Android Apps on a daily basis.
• In the first few weeks;you’ll dive into the code and work with us to create clean, composable components. You’ll use this knowledge to start developing and refining features.
• In the first three months; you’ll develop features that impact our merchant base. You’ll work closely with the product and design team to build features that are maintainable, usable, and beautiful. You’ll help us rethink problems we’ve solved before in a different way as requirements evolve.
• By the end of your first year;you’ll have a wealth of knowledge about our complex and interesting domain. You’ll have launched numerous features in our Android Apps as well as in the Android SDK and will ultimately be helping merchants and consumers around the world to buy and sell what they love.
