DXC provides Application Services (ASP), Desktop Services (eWP), Infrastructure Services (ISP), Cloud, Mobility, MyComms, and DXC Insurance Software.

We support 500 applications, 8300 servers, 33 PB storage, 100,000 mail boxes, 50,000 users, and 2,500 resources.

The Project Manager/Scrum Master Is Mainly Responsible For

• Work in proposals for our customers and act as the Subject Manager Expert for Project Management and agile approaches.
• Set up project organisation, plan and execute projects (waterfall, agile and hybrid projects)
• Planning and leading workshops, Steering Board Meetings
• Feedback of project progress (Monitoring and Controlling)
• Including managing of change in the project
  

And should be able and know how to use methodologies, tools and techniques to initiate and execute waterfall, agile and hybrid projects.

The Project Manager/Scrum Master will work in our Consulting Projects, mainly with developing, customizing and implementing solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Scrum master under Agile framework
• Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers
• Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques
• Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team
• Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams
• Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization
• In addition to the usual requirements for a scrum master, you will also support the team with other technical and organizational tasks such as creation of user stories, quality assurance, preparation of tests
• Develop and facilitate workshops with client teams
  

Education And Experience Required

Typically a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 years related experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Knowledge And Skills

• German (fluent/native) and English language skills
• Able to work with project planning and agile tools
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into a solution
• Ability to understand the breadth and depth of the deliverable and how the solution fits into the larger picture
• Able to conduct presentations to all audiences on a variety of subjects
• Working experience in IT Project Management
• Certified in PMP, PRINCE or IPMA or with another PM Organisation or at least started this path
• Certified in agile roles (e.g. Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agilist)
• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple stakeholders also via remote working practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated, proactive, collaborative and organised
