Get in touch with us if you are looking to be a part of creating hope for a healthy future in many people’s lives.As part of the New Scaffolds department, you will be involved in the engineering, production and characterization of different antibody formats.Your main responsibilities are:
  • Development and optimization of analytical and functional assays (with a focus on cell-based assays) to identify and characterize therapeutic bispecific antibodies (e.g. ELISA, FACS, high-content imaging, cell-based functional and immunological assays)
  • Cultivation and engineering of various cell lines and isolation of primary cells
  • Processing of experimental data and presentation to cross-functional team members, actively participate in scientific discussions, and collaborate internally with other laboratories and departments or external experts
  • Support as an additional project leader of the genetic engineering facility (managing documentation of genetically modified organisms)
What You Have To Offer
  • Doctoral degree in natural sciences (e.g. biology, immunology, medicine, biochemistry, pharmacy)
  • Profound experience antibody production and characterization, cell culture, cell-based assay systems and flow cytometry are mandatory
  • Knowledge in the protein engineering field and experience with different expression systems ( E. coli , mammalian cells) is an advantage
  • Certificate of participation in an advanced training course according to
  • 28 GenTSV is desirable
  • You are a highly motivated scientist and are looking forward to being a key player of a team to bring our antibody platform to the next level
  • A strong team spirit and willingness to connect antibody discovery and characterization in close interaction with members of the own and of other teams
  • Ability to work well structured and independently in a fast-paced environment as well as joy in working in an interdisciplinary and international environment
  • Industry experience is of advantage but not mandatory
  • Business-professional German and English language skills are mandatory
