Get in touch with us if you are looking to be a part of creating hope for a healthy future in many people’s lives.Research Associate* Molecular DiagnosticsAs part of the Molecular Diagnostics team , you will support liquid biopsy experts in the in-house processing of R&D clinical samples using next generation sequencing in the context of different clinical programs. Your tasks in detail are:
  • Conduct experiments and process routine clinical samples following SOPs applying mainly PCR based methods and next generation sequencing, including sample preparation
  • Documentation of experiments, preparation and review of SOPs
  • Maintenance and responsibility for instruments, support in general lab organization, ordering and re-stocking of consumables, kits and reagents
What You Have To Offer.
  • Scientific-technical vocational training in relevant fields (e.g., as biology/biochemistry/ chemistry laboratory assistant) or bachelor’s degree
  • Hands-on experience and good understanding of molecular biology techniques (e.g., nucleic acid extraction and quality control, PCR, qPCR, digital PCR)
  • Previous experience with preparation of next generation sequencing libraries is advantageous
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail. Well-structured and precise way of working.
  • Willingness to take over responsibility, as well as to work in a team and with enthusiasm
  • Fluency in English and German
