At the Faculty of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, Institute of Communications Engineering, we are filling the following position, subject to budgetary provisions, for a limited period at the earliest possible date for a limited period of three years (with the option of extension):

THESE ARE YOUR TASKS:

• Research in the area of communications engineering with the goal of a scientific qualification (PhD)
• Publication of research results
• Preparation of project applications for third party funding
• Scientific, research-based teaching of approx. 4 SWS in the form of exercises and practicals in the field of communications engineering with the aim of enabling students to carry out independent scientific work
• Supervision of theses
• Preparation, supervision and correction of examinations
  
  

THIS MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT:

• Completed university degree (state exam, diploma, master’s degree or comparable degree) in in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Physics or a comparable field of study with at least good results
• Sound knowledge in communications engineering
• Good programming skills in Python, Matlab or C
• Fluent in spoken and written English or German
• Willingness to work seriously and with commitment on your own scientific qualification
• Ability to cooperate in heterogenous teams and in an interdisciplinary environment
