Position Summary:

Precision for Medicine is a precision medicine CRO. Precision’s uniquely integrated offering enables the science of precision medicine by combining novel clinical trial designs, industry-leading operational and medical experts, advanced biomarker and data analytics solutions, and an unequivocal real passion for novel therapeutics in various indications.

For our team in Berlin, we are looking for a person to join as:


Purchasing/Procurement Operative

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

  • The forecast, planning, and procurement of laboratory materials for kit production and laboratory analyses from pharmaceutical manufacturers and wholesalers is your day-to-day business.
  • To carry out and control order acceptance and processing, as well as inventory
  • Responsible for coordinating incoming goods and laboratory samples and assigning these to recipients, shelves, or refrigeration
  • Processing of issues/complaints, deviations and returns
  • Working closely with internal company interfaces such as shipping, laboratory, quality, finance, etc.
  • Regularly creating reports according to selected / defined KPIs
  • Master data entry and maintenance in ERP

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

  • Degree in business administration or equivalent commercial education and experience
  • Experience in purchasing from manufacturers and wholesalers, ideally in the pharmaceutical, medical technology or laboratory supplies industries, (this is desirable)

Other Required:

Preferred:

  • Experienced in handling purchase and warehouse management systems
  • High awareness of costs, quality, and responsibility
  • Independent, structured, and result-oriented

Skills:

  • Excellent PC skills (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
  • Numeracy
  • Good written and spoken English and German skills
  • Excellent communication skills and team player
