RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Development of new products and processes in Formulation and Polymers for the Healthcare Sector
  • Provide technical and polymer chemistry support to other functions (particularly Product Management, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs)
  • Plan, conduct and perform experiments and document results
  • Assist with patent prosecution
  • Lead and manage project teams
  • Presentation of results to internal and external committees, technical presentations to customers and cooperation partners, and presentations at international symposia and conferences
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science or engineering, Ph.D. preferred
  • Experience in chemical synthesis of pharmaceutical excipients and polymers for medical devices, ideally in the field of biopolymers
  • Strong research and development and project management skills
  • Experience in handling chemicals and hazardous materials
  • Very good English and German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, high problem-solving ability and independent, results-oriented work style
