THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT TIER

As Manager for Health & Safety Management Systems you are responsible for the establishing international health and safety standards and associated audit framework to drive compliance and continuous improvements. Furthermore you’ll have a strong focus on
  • Development, support and continuous improvement of health and safety management system developed under ISO standard (ISO 45001) incl. Documentation (English)
  • Develop local and central reporting frameworks to provide business wide visibility of health and safety compliance risks
  • Create and deploy health and safety procedures, developing processes for international rollout
  • Performing and managing internal audits and audit programs
  • Coordinating Management Review Meetings required by the above mentioned standards
  • Administrate incident reports and incident management documentation
  • Administrate, monitor and follow up on the implementation of all actions on accidents, incidents, near misses, hazard observations, etc.
  • Create H&S statistics and reports (internal and external)
  • Identify any deterioration of H&S performance and propose mitigation actions
  • Coordinate, organize, provide training and promote H&S orientation, adverse events etc.
  • Assist in other activities and programs related to H&S e.g. Newsletter, best practice sharing, feeding communication channels

You’ll Fit Great With These Skills And Qualifications
  • Completed technical training or engineering degree with appropriate qualifications
  • ISO 45001 certification
  • SIFA training completed or other occupational safety education (NEBOSH)
  • Knowledge on laws and legislation in the respected country
  • Minimum 5 years experience managing with Safety topics and/or with occupational safety, fire protection, or dangerous goods
  • Proven consulting/advising competence, analytical, and with an eye for problem-solving
  • Structured, detailed, and goal-oriented way of working
  • Ability to work in a fast changing environment, working on several projects
  • Solution-oriented way of working, hands on mentality and collaborative
  • Strong communication skills in English and
  • Willingness for occasional business trips
