In your function as Production Engineering Specialist (m/f/d), you design and plan the processes and equipment in production. You will ensure high availability of operating resources and support the optimization of internal manufacturing processes. The position is filled within the Electrification division in the Distribution Solutions business unit at the location in Ratingen / North Rhine-Westphalia / Germany.

Head of Technology Department

Your responsibilities
  • Continuous improvement and standardization of manufacturing processes.
  • Design and construction of equipment using 3D CAD Solid Works.
  • Maintenance of parts lists and change notifications in the PLM system.
  • Supporting the Supply Chain Management for technical investments.
  • Supervision of partial discharge measurement for epoxy components.
  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing processes with engineering and production.
  • Assist with new product development.
  • Participation in process and product FMEA’s.
  • Participation in continuous improvement process.
Your background
  • Completed studies in mechanical engineering with focus on design, automation or production engineering, alternatively technician education with several years of professional experience in above mentioned field of activity.
  • At least three years of professional experience in industrialization or equipment design is an advantage.
  • Technical vocational training is an advantage.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
  • Personally, you convince with your assertiveness and decision-making ability, your strategic and analytical thinking and acting as well as your ability to work in a team.
