We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Controlling Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team at Damovo. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our procurement processes by ensuring efficient cost control, accurate financial analysis, and effective supplier management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head of Group Procurement, Head of FP&A and CFO to monitor and manage procurement spend, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and cost-saving initiatives. As a specialist you ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement processes while adhering to Damovo´s group policies and regulations. You will monitor and analyze our purchasing activities and prepare data for negotiations with suppliers and for our vendor relationship management
  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis to identify potential areas for cost optimization and process improvements
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular supplier evaluation to ensure compliance with contractual terms and agreed-upon service levels
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process enhancements
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on procurement performance, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and challenges
  • Assist in negotiating favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and contractual terms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-effective procurement strategies and contribute to strategic decision-making
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in procurement and supply chain management
Competencies Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, such as Finance, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management
  • 4-7 years of proven experience in procurement controlling, financial analysis, or related roles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights
  • Proficiency in using financial software and tools, such as Excel, SAP, or other ERP systems
  • Experience in Tableau and Power BI are welcome
  • Excellent communication skills, in German and English - both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive work environment
