The role

The Packaging Excellence & Materials Testing Engineer will be responsible for leading and coordinating daily laboratory activities supporting the development of the Packaging Excellence concept and contributing to HelloFresh Food supply chain disruption.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and coordinate testing activities, setup, execution and results analysis in an international Laboratory following agile principles
• Drive the development of new test and evaluation methods for assessing packaging performance
• Collaboration with internal customers and external suppliers to develop and validate the performance of packaging materials
• Contribute to Innovative Packaging Concept and development of internal standard testing methods
• Maintain high laboratory efficiency with preventive procurement of lab consumables supplies and strategic inventory systems
• Find tradeoffs to excellent laboratory customers experience and company goals
• Validate test Reports and Operating Procedures
  

What You’ll Bring

• BS in materials science, mechanical engineering, packaging engineering or related
• Good English and German spoken and written skills
• Problem Solving attitude
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish effective working relationships.
