A market analyst is responsible for studying market conditions to assess the potential sales of products and services. Develops and leverages internal and external resources to gain market intelligence and gain expertise on market areas of interest The successful market analyst will be able to analyse qualitative data, trends, strategies, and competition aiming at increasing competitiveness. The goal of a market analyst is to assist the companies to determine what products are in demand, who will purchase the products and the price they are willing to pay.

Activities
- Perform valid and reliable market research analysis
- Utilize online market research and catalogue findings to databases
- Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data (Databases, Surveys, Questionnaires, Opinion Polls)
- Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations
- Gather and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it
- Design specific research methods
- Leads generation
- Measures the effectiveness of marketing and product strategies via marketing tools, Salesforce CRM and research
- Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices
Education & Qualification:
- Degree with analytical focus completed with a major in sales, IT or a comparable field of study
- Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related to multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness
- Posses search engines, web analytics, and business research tools acumen
- Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness
- Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office (Excel/Access and SQL)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Deep knowledge of data warehousing, and mining
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
- Working knowledge with CRM programs (Salesforce)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred
- Experience with Adobe Analytics (Omniture SiteCatalyst), Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, or similar web analytics, web optimization, or data management platforms
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
