YOUR ROLE

In a very dynamic organization, the Manager IT Operations & Services reports to the COO and will be responsible for the improvement and the quality of IT operations processes and services. You will actively participate in defining the strategy for the evolution of the IT Operations and in the improvement of the services. YOUR TASK

IT OPERATIONS

• Responsibility for the functionality of IT systems and external applications
• Administration of the IT infrastructure (e.g. SaaS, network, telephony, MDM) and end-user devices
• Managing IT projects: Collaborating closely with business owners in evaluating, selecting and implementing suitable software solutions
• Building and maintaining relationships with other IT leaders to develop a clear understanding of business needs while ensuring a cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs, and responding with agility to changing business priorities
• Responsibility for IT budget process, forecasting and controlling
• Vendor management and procurement

IT SERVICES

• Leading the IT services team (4 team members). Deliver high-quality IT services meeting service levels and quality standards
• Mentor and coach new and existing employees. Empower the team, ensure accountability and delivery in a high quality and timely manner
• Report and pro-actively find solutions for most common IT issues. Reducing incoming tickets and down-time. Liaise with Product Owner(s) on bugs and communicate upgrades, modifications or deployment
• Owning and managing both the IT governance process and IT regulation documentation (ie. IT Security, Data protection, Cybercrime, ICS)

YOUR PROFILE

• At least 5 years of experience in IT Operation with IT Service Management experience, preferably in an retail environment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, network infrastructure, electrical engineering or equivalent
• Strong organization/project planning, time management, and change management skills across multiple functional groups and departments
• Ability to work in a hybrid OS environment
• Good understanding of the operation of IT infrastructure and applications, IT engineering and service platforms
• Strong analytical skills and budgeting experience
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels, internally and externally
• High proficiency in English, other languages beneficial (i.e. German)
