As a team member (m/f/d) of Construction Onshore, which is responsible for installing, commissioning, and finally handover wind farms to our customers, you will actively be able to contribute to this aim every day.

Bid Management Support in Construction Onshore is responsible for the standard road and site planning, technical specification, erection concepts and risk mitigated installation concepts for the region Northern & Central Europe. The team of Site and Civil engineers supports the Sales Engineers and Project Managers in the planning phase.

Responsibilities

As Manager Bid Management Support Onshore (m/f/d), you are accountable that for all sales projects the relevant site package is available in time and respective quality. Your tasks will include:

• Coordinating all needed project specific adjustments and supporting the dedicated Construction Project Managers
• Supervising and developing a team of seven people
• Ensuring that all value levers are applied so the best possible business case for the respective project will apply
• Being involved in several collaborations with Research & Development, to evaluate the technical and commercial impact of certain projects
• Undertaking, aligning and addressing all stakeholders’ communication, input and initiatives regarding site related topics

Qualifications

• Relevant University Degree in industrial engineering or business administration, or commercial apprenticeship with extensive work experience in operations and project management
• Extensive project management experience, e.g. from handling large scale construction projects or complex technical equipment in an international environment
• Professional understanding of business matters, the value chain as well as investigative skills
• Experience in governance process and financial aspects in connection with construction projects
• Experience in supervising teams
• Good knowledge of portfolio management

Competencies

• The ability to keep the overview and think ahead, but also to appreciate the operational aspects
• Ability to develop a motivated team
• Familiarity with sophisticated management tools, approaches, processes, and procedures
• Ability to direct and guide change
• Solid verbal and written communication skills in English and German

Additional information

The position can be carried out from several locations in Germany and includes 30% travelling.
