The branch of our business unit MicroPoise in Lübeck is responsible for the distribution of spare parts, upgrades and services for tire measuring machines in the EMEA region and is looking for a dedicated Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) with supporting function of our purchasing department as of 01.07.2022.
As an employee in our warehouse logistics, you work in a key position within our supply chain. Whether in goods receiving, picking or loading - you contribute to ensuring that the goods find the right way and arrive where they are needed. This requires people like you who like to tackle things and work independently to achieve common goals. In addition to the activities in our ERP system for inventory management, the creation and tracking of purchase orders round out your area of responsibility. Furthermore, you work in a structured manner, handle our goods carefully and keep your work area clean and tidy.
You can expect a nice, open team and you will get the opportunity to implement your ideas for improvements in the warehouse area and will also communicate quite independently with our parent company in the USA. Therefore, knowledge of English is definitely an advantage.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Commercial management of the MicroPoise warehouse in the MS NAVISION inventory management system
- Receipt of goods
- Incoming inspection and quality control as well as storage of goods
- Picking and shipping preparation of outgoing goods
- Inventory execution and support
- Optimization of the warehouse area as well as the master data
- Create, ship, and track purchase orders to our parent plant in the U.S.
- Completed commercial training as a forwarding agent (m/f/d) or also as a warehouse clerk with experience in ERP systems and the will to develop further. Career changers with appropriate advanced training are also welcome.
- Fluent German and good English skills, both written and verbal
- Confident in using Microsoft Office programs as well as experience with enterprise resource planning systems, ideally MS Navision
- Team player with commitment and independent way of thinking/acting
- Enjoy communicating in an international environment
- Driving license for industrial trucks (forklift license) or willingness to acquire it in the short term
- Residence in the Lübeck area
- Good and secure handling of computer-aided programs
