Are you the enthusiastic IT Professional we are looking for?
We are now looking for a IT Service Delivery Specialist to IT Operations, CEN (Central Europe) to implement, deliver, and support active and future IT solutions that drive Valmet Business forward.
In this role you are responsible for the delivery and quality of IT services in the Area and work closely with the Business and global IT team.
What will you do in this role?
  • Be responsible for delivery and implementation of Global and Area standard IT solutions
  • Work in close collaboration with Global and Area teams to deliver IT solutions that are in alignment with the organizations vision
  • Participate and or Lead assigned Area IT projects, deployments, and implementations
  • Collaborate to identify and solve IT problems by applying current available technologies
  • Monitor IT Systems / solutions operational performance when needed and refer findings to relevant IT suppliers or professionals to assist in troubleshooting
  • Work in collaboration with our partners to maintain a high quality of services to our internal and external customer and stakeholders
  • Contributes in the implementation and management of high quality and cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain documentation in Valmet global systems
  • Actively participate in monthly Area and Global IT meetings by contributing to process and service improvements
  • Work closely with the business to fulfill needs/requirements and transform to acceptable solutions following our Global information technology portfolio
  • Promote common IT platforms and tools in accordance with governance directives
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in related technical /business area (BCompSc, BScIT) or a related degree is preferred.
  • IT and business-related professional degrees and certifications
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Information Technology or Business role, including 3 years of IT Operation
  • Strong knowledge of IT technologies
  • Good understanding of Windows servers and network standards
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to communicate information effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Very good English language skill, any other language will be an asset
  • Experience working in an international environment
