About DEEP Ecosystems

We are a global community of startup ecosystem builders, dedicated to supporting grass-root innovation projects and fostering interconnectivity among startup ecosystems globally.

Our Three Main Activities Are
  • Community – organization of conference formats and online events to foster networking, peer learning and collaboration opportunities for ecosystem builders worldwide
  • Data – the maintenance of the Startup Heatmap data platform and the tracking of ecosystem developments and innovation trends.
  • Acceleration – various formats to support regional ecosystems in their growth trajectory, mainly our 6-week Startup Ecosystem Accelerator for Ecosystem Builders.
Our work has been recognized by long-standing partners like the Allianz Cultural Foundation, Atomico Ventures, Balderton Capital and some of the most dynamic municipalities around Europe (Barcelona, Stockholm, Vienna, Berlin and more). The results have been featured in international media like the New York Times, Politico, Venturebeat and many more.

Your Responsibilities
  • You identify potential commercial and value-add partners for our various activities
  • You support in the relationship building with startup support organizations, local and regional economic agencies, foundations, local business and investor associations as well as corporate structures
  • You prepare communication material and partnership proposals based on templates provided
  • You actively reach out to leads and lead the first interaction to identify potential matches before an introduction to senior staff
  • You learn how to track leads in a CRM system and automate marketing messages and follow-ups with automations
Your Profile
  • You have a master degree in social science, economics or equivalent and preferably first working experiences in a dynamic and fast turning environment
  • You gained project management experiences, preferably in a volunteer organization
  • You are a sales talent with a business mindset to grow value-based partnerships
  • You describe yourself as an outgoing personality with the intrinsic motivation to approach new contacts
  • You ideally gained experience living and working abroad for >1 year
  • You score with a passion for the startup world, technology and new business models
