Incident Manager (m/f/d)


Your tasks

  • Take ownership of incidents and problems, assuming responsibility for their resolution within agreed-upon timelines
  • Coordinate and oversee the incident response process, including identification, prioritization, investigation, and resolution of incidents
  • Conduct root cause analysis and trend analysis to identify recurring issues and develop proactive solutions for quality assurance and incident prevention
  • Initiate and lead problem management activities, working towards continuous quality improvement and reducing the likelihood of future incidents
  • Evaluate the impact and risks associated with emergency changes, supporting the Business Solution Owner in making informed decisions to ensure business continuity
  • Collaborate with change management and release management teams to implement emergency changes efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain incident-related documentation, including incident reports, problem records, and lessons learned, to facilitate knowledge sharing and process improvement

Your profile

  • Senior-level professional experience in incident management or IT service management, demonstrating several years of hands-on experience
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and drive effective resolutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, enabling effective coordination with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using appropriate tools such as ServiceNow and Jira for incident management and problem resolution
  • Knowledge of ITIL and incident management processes, preferably with related certifications such as ITIL 4 and ISO/IEC 27035
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining accurate incident-related documentation
  • Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with industry trends and best practices in incident management
