This is a challenging and dynamic role as the Head of Strategic Topics at Siemens Communications. Our communications department is the voice of the company. We are one team, communicate with one voice and have a mission - to support our businesses and our leaders around the world day in and day out.
The Head of Strategic Topics will formulate and drive a clear, impactful and rigorous data-driven approach to our strategic topics such as DEGREE and Digital Transformation. This role requires someone who can effectively switch between vision, strategy, and flawless detail and execution along the customer experience journey.
You must be a strong leader with the ability to inspire and bring our internal and external stakeholders together by delivering consistent and aligned brand communications around Siemens’ strategic topics. Collaboration with other key communication departments, regions/countries and businesses on strategic initiatives & their execution is of utmost importance.
The role is anticipated to be located in Munich, but you can also work in a European time zone location. It reports to the Head of Brand, Siemens Communication, Khanh Huynh-Kürzinger.

What part will you play?
- Lead global brand communication strategy for our key strategic topics as part of the overall brand equity / narrative.
- In doing so, you define messaging priorities while being mindful of key points of differences across our different target groups (internal / external).
- In addition, you develop a roadmap on how we will bring it to life working in partnership with our businesses and regions.
- You are responsible for the Customer Experience Journey, including KPIs for strategic issues.
- You create a coherent and comprehensive activation content framework, underpinned by data insights and appropriate for businesses and regions.
- Leading communication developments across all touch points, from creative to production to distribution, in line with global brand equity guidelines, will also fall within your remit.
- You will build a strong partnership with key stakeholders (theme owners, businesses and regions) and Comms Excellence teams.
- You will also be responsible for building and leading a team of 4-5 members.

- You bring many years of experience in brand management, ideally in a leading B2B or FMCG industry.
- Strong strategic leadership skills, a business acumen and proven track record in delivering results are part of your profile.
- You also bring strong experience in developing brand communications from strategy to excellent execution.
- Demonstrated experience in digital communications regarding latest trends in content marketing and across a variety of channels with clear KPIs. Experience in sustainability and digital transformation communications further distinguish your profile.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with matrix organizations, i.e. the ability to build strong working relationships/networks and influence key stakeholders, decision makers and/or internal influencers is what you bring to the table.
- You have several years of experience in people management.
- You are familiar with working in international teams and ideally in agile organizations.
- You have professional proficiency in English and German; other languages are a plus.
- A university degree (BA/MA/or equivalent) in marketing, business or a related field completes your profile.
