Qualifications

Qualifications: Personal and professional

As a motivational leader with a goal-oriented management style and negotiation skills, strong communication and contact skills, and gravitas, you act strategically and entrepreneurially.

You will likely have a degree or a comparable qualification in sales, you have strong sales expertise, a goal- and customer-oriented work style, and a high degree of willingness to travel within Germany to visit key prospects.
  • +7 years’ experience in sales or business development.
  • +3 years’ experience as high performing Team Leader, Head of Sales, Head of Business Development or Country Manager
  • Experience with both small and Mid-Market customers, preferably with a track record of sales to both segments
  • Successfully built or scaled sales departments in a high growth environment catered to Small and Mid Market customers
  • Experience in managing a team, setting compensation and performance based metrics and driving top performance
  • Experience hiring, coaching and mentoring sales staff

You’ll be part of one of the fastest-growing eCommerce payments businesses in Europe. Driving growth in ecommerce for Germany is a key focus point for our business. And we are fast expanding the team and product sets there. As a Leader in the DACH PSP team you will be at the leading edge to support this growth helping the business drive new business

You’ll be powering growth in Ecommerce

As the Head of Sales, you’ll join an open and sharing community with highly skilled colleagues. You can come as you are and be at your best at Nets. You’ll even find the freedom to balance an exciting job with life outside of work. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and scaling our eCommerce sales presence in Germany / the DACH region. Managing the sales team (both permanent and agency heads) and be responsible for achieving our new business revenue targets

Your key tasks and responsibilities are
  • You will build and deliver the strategic market expansion plan to acquire new clients and build a high growth subscription business
  • You will lead and build a high performing sales function across the region
  • Lead individual sales in Europe and build up the existing sales team capability
  • You will have ownership of the market’s sales budget, sales plan, and team performance to achieve rapid growth
  • Develop customers in target segments of retail and service, as well as explore expanding into new segments
