Head of PR (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

• You lead and manage the EU PR department at air up and report directly to our Founder and Chief Evangelist Lena
• You push air up to be a world-renowned brand by driving the global PR strategy at air up
• You support the VP marketing and head of brand strategy in positioning air up as the cultural brand in your channels
• You strengthen air up’s rebel-innovator brand image by implementing it into bold PR campaigns or events
• You ensure that air up is continuously placed in the European Media by connecting it to culturally relevant topics with branded content
• You consult the Founder and EXEC team on all corporate and PR relevant matters

That’s you

• You have at least 10 years of profound experience in Corporate Communication related disciplines, ranging from PR Operations to Brand communication, Crisis communication or Creative campaigning
• You have the know-how of building leading global systems in all of them
• You bring global expertise to the table and have experience in our core regions (EU + US+ Asia as a plus). You have done it all and seen it all and yet you are willing to build something completely new and unique
• You are a communication expert and with a strong liking for bold brands
• You understand the potential of communication and you are not afraid of edgy messages. Simple Sales & Lifestyle communication bores you
• You are a Strategist with a pioneering spirit. Impactful & innovative communication concepts are your strong suit
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a no-regrets personality
• You are used to building things from the ground up and getting your hands dirty wherever and whenever there is a need. Strategy is your first name and Speed is your middle name
• You understand Corporate Communication/ PR not as a Sales Channel but instead as another channel to build up a meaningful brand
• You are fluent in English and fluent in German
• You are also open to new cultures and like to work with a diverse team
• You are ready for the biggest challenge of your life and the hardest race you have ever run
