Who will you be joining?
The Allianz SE Corporate Building Solutions and Operations team is in charge of the process optimization and digitalization of the headquarters operations to offer a customer centric service and state of the art working environment and processes to Allianz SE employees.
As a Head of this team, you will be playing a critical role in the transformation of Allianz headquarters, specially in the areas of real estate, travel services and intercompany billing processes.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exemplary leadership, team and contractor management, critical thinking, innovation, and multi-tasking abilities. They must demonstrate proven success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal skills.
How can you make an impact?
- Lead for retained organization for real estate management and travel services, including steering of internal service providers, strategy definition, user representation and budget controlling.
- Enable 3rd parties invoicing and inter-company billing in Allianz SE as well as management of AZSE Group Charges
- Drive operational objectives with ongoing process improvement initiatives to continually improve service, project delivery, and customer success at Schwabing campus.
- Cost control responsible for the operations related central expenses for Allianz holding
- Understand needs of multicultural and international teams and transmit them to the service providers.
- Quickly respond to queries with high diplomacy and resolve any technical barriers to completion.
- Negotiations lead for works council relevant initiatives in the area of operations.
- Troubleshoot, walk down, and resolve issues that arise from all workstreams.
- Supervise, lead and coach the team
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience as a people manager. Confirmed track of successfully supervising, developing and training staff
- Experience delivering best-in-class customer service
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and workflow to ensure accuracy and quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constant change & innovating environment where priorities change frequently
- Demonstrated ability to manage the overall business initiative or several components of a large, sophisticated project
- Ability to manage a group of specialists and be the single point of contact managing several competing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to engage with emotional intelligence as the need arises in order to preserve employees satisfaction
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups
- Excellent independent and decision-making capabilities
- Strong team player and customer & Service focus
- Change Management principles and processes experience desired
- Previous experience in business related functions (e.i. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
- 5 to 10 years experience in real estate management or operations related function
- University degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA) in business administration, engineering or natural sciences with focus on business or finance, or relevant field
- Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple ways
- Stakeholder management: ability to influence, guide and build relationships at a senior level
- Analytical thinking to identify and understand complex corporate business, challenges and solutions
- Intercultural skills and ability to successfully work cross-functionally and across Allianz’s Operational Entities (OE’s)
- Fluent in Englisch and German is an advantage
