GPU Software Development Engineer (f/m/d)

Job Description

The role involves working on high-performance graphics and simulation solutions at the intersection of computer graphics and machine learning and use them to demonstrate their potential. These solutions can be packaged as SDKs or DCC tools to be used directly by game developers and artists in the gaming or visual effects industry and requires developing enhanced physics-based simulation and rendering leveraging the next-gen APIs dx12 Vulkan and unique features of Intel hardware. The role requires making demos and technical tasks internally and externally at conferences or online that show off the possibilities of the technology. The role requires interacting with our partners online and in person to get the development community excited about the hardware and its capabilities. The role requires optimizing critical kernels to run at their peak performance on Intel hardware.

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
