Your Future Contribution

As a Working Student in the Finance department, you will play a key role in supporting the Accounting and Finance team by ensuring the timely collection of outstanding balances. You understand how cash collection processes impact business performance, and seek to assist with ensuring on-time collections, as well as providing rapid resolutions for any related issues.

Our team is a data-driven strategic hub within HomeToGo; we welcome any complex business challenges and combine analytics with strategic initiatives that keep HomeToGo at the forefront of the rapidly evolving vacation rental space.

How You’ll Add Value

• Your main responsibility will be to act as the go to person for all internal or external (e.g audit) questions related to the status of open payments, while supporting the team in monthly closing processes and administrative tasks (e.g. sending out final agreements, issuing invoices etc)
• In your first month, you will build relationships within your team and learn their best practices
• You will regularly collaborate with Business Development managers regarding payment issues and provide expertise regarding resolutions of these issues
• Along the way, you will support in standardizing the dunning process, specifically with defining the format for outreach, progress tracking and legal steps
• After 90 days, you will have the opportunity to start developing and supporting existing processes along with suggesting new ways to optimize our daily work.
  

You’ll Be Successful In This Role If You

• Are reliable, structured and possess good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Have a hands-on mentality and desire to not only deliver key results, but improve processes
• Are a team player who also enjoys the opportunity to be empowered to work independently
• Have basic knowledge of MS Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Speak fluent English, German is a plus
