About The Position

The Stores area is creating the technical basis for efficient store processes by using the latest technologies. Our customers will be able to see the results of your work first-hand in all ALDI SOUTH stores worldwide. To provide the store employees with the best possible up-to-date hardware and software support, processes are increasingly shifting to mobile devices. To be able to support this strategic focus, we want to greatly expand our current team of experts.

We are therefore looking for different skill sets including experienced Android or iOS developers to manage external developers or build their own agile development team as well as motivated university graduates who coordinate requirements for the further development of mobile applications in close coordination with the operational business.

Your Tasks
  • Working with your team and the representatives of our national business entities in order to break down big requirements into small, realisable user stories
  • Collaborating with the Product Owner on the creation of the product roadmap and using this as the basis for your own roadmap
  • Planning the next sprint and making all the necessary arrangements in collaboration with the Product Owner and your Development team in order to create a valuable increment
  • Designing your feature together with your team in order to create the best possible added value for our customers
  • Defining, collecting data on and analysing the appropriate KPIs in order to measure the success of your feature; working with your Team Manager, Scrum Master and Portfolio Coach to increase the efficiency of your team and further develop our working methods
  • Conducting workshops with stakeholders from a wide range of areas in order to identify and resolve requirements and interdependencies
  • Supporting other Feature Owners in resolving dependencies and working to reduce dependencies in a meaningful way
Your Profile
  • Experience working as a Product Owner, Requirements Engineer or Business Analyst in an agile environment, ideally in a scaled environment
  • Experience in applying agile methods for creating and structuring a backlog (e.g. User Story Mapping, WSJF, Kano, etc.)
  • Agile mindset, persuasiveness and strong communication skills
  • Very good presentation, facilitation and communication skills
  • Fluency in English
