Company DescriptionMiltenyi Biomedicine is a biopharmaceutical company developing personalized chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapies. We are bringing innovative treatments and reshaping their accessibility for clinical professionals and patients worldwide with the aim to improve and extend patients’ lives. We are currently focusing on difficult-to-treat hematological cancers using CAR technology whilst exploring treatments for other diseases. Our lead candidate, currently in pivotal stage clinical trials in Europe and the USA, is a tandem CAR T cell product.Job DescriptionThe Miltenyi Biomedicine Supply Chain (SC) function is a service function focused on the international, time-critical logistics of patient-specific drug product and starting materials. It is interfacing with all key stakeholders in the current clinical trial supply chain: clinics, clinical development, manufacturing, logistics and IT providers.
  • You ensure that our processes are designed in a smart and lean way, are compliant and aligned with key stakeholders as well as streamlined and continuously improved using state-of-art workflow management systems and tools.
  • You refine (map, design and align) supply chain processes.
  • As we are operating in a biopharmaceutical environment requiring specific care in a compliant set-up, you document out processes in SOPs, work instructions (work aids), etc., you ensure training of the teams and engage in exception and change management.
  • The continuous refinement and development of the supporting IT / workflow system and tools is also on your agenda: you identify user requirements and derive specifications, oversea IT development and validation guidelines and selectively support tool administration.
  • You will be part of a team of experts managing existing processes and the workflow system supporting the executional team planning and overseeing the logistics.
Qualifications
  • You hold a university degree (e.g. in engineering, economics, sciences, informatics).
  • You have experience in process design and documentation or manual writing as well as related project management – experience in pharma or logistics, customs processes, pharma cold chain or equipment qualification is a plus.
  • Your analytical skills as well as the ability to translate needs into processes and refine solutions is what sets you apart.
  • You are curious and love to communicate effectively and align with different stakeholders across functions in English – German language capabilities are a plus.
  • You are highly reliable and eager to take accountability for your tasks/deliverables.
