Your opportunity

Be our new Specialist (m/f/d) for Electrical Wiring Interconnection System at Airbus in Hamburg!

You will join our international and highly engaged team of 13 engineers. With that you will have the great opportunity to work in a very innovative contextand develop new electrical design directives enabling high voltage in zero emission aircraft.

Our team validates and verifies the aircraft design for the electrical wiring interconnection system for all Airbus aircraft. There we are responsible from defining requirements, verifying digital mock-ups to physical integration. Furthermore we ensure design compliance with certification requirements, in-service support experience and weight/cost reduction.

Your main responsibilities

  • You will develop electrical installation directives of future aircraft to set-up the physical installation

  • You will pro-actively contribute to ensure quality and optimization of the designs considering airworthiness, safety, operational reliability and the manufacturing process

  • You will propose and develop an optimized multisystem architecture in line with the dependent systems

  • You will support the certification justification of the electrical wiring interconnection system

  • You will ensure the certification tasks and manage the compliance demonstration activities in cooperation with internal interfaces

  • You will contribute to research and technology projects

Your Boarding Pass

  • You have a university degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

  • You bring several years of professional experience in electrical system installation design

  • You show profound engineering competencies in the field of electrical wiring interconnection system and/or systems/avionics

  • Ideally you bring experience in customer support or system safety

  • You are a proactive and open-minded person with strong communication, negotiation and networking competencies

  • You have the ability to technically lead, convince and motivate people

  • Your English is at negotiation level
