Description And Requirements

As Services Technical Solution Architect you will closely with Account executives to qualify opportunities, collaborate on sales strategy, process, and level of presales engagement and to prioritize time, activities and investments on the most impactful revenue-generating opportunities. You will be single point of contact for Account Executives, Sales engineering, SMEs and other specialists in support of sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities will be to:
  • Motivate and inspire the teams by providing a vision, empowering Sales engineers, and encouraging creativity, clearly communicating expectations, and providing support necessary for team and client success.
  • Align resources to opportunity activities and establish due dates and milestones to ensure successful execution of customer deliverables.
  • Ensure the quality of the pre-sale deliverables (presentation, demonstrations, etc.) in tandem with the AE.
  • Demonstrate value to customers of a solution approach with clear articulation of ROI and business case.
  • Champion the customer by helping to educate the presales team on customer situations, helps them focus on what needs to be done and prescribes the optimal solution to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Coach best practices and provides both informal and formal feedback to develop excellence in all Presales colleagues.
  • Drive consistent presales processes, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 opportunity management, dry-runs and discovery sessions and other tools, to ensure superior evaluations, product demos and presentations.
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback to SEs, Sales Specialists, Solution Architects, and Business Analysts to continuously elevate performance and drive solutions transformation.

Role Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience working in or with technology leaders/senior decision-makers in solving technology challenges and influencing decisions on client, server, services decisions with 1-2 years of people management experience a plus
  • Good working knowledge of the entire Lenovo portfolio, competitive solutions, and how they relate to customer’s requirements
  • Frequently delivered high impact short duration work packages along with building and motivating team members
  • Track record of establishing credibility with the most senior decision-makers and influencers in IT
  • High levels of business and financial acumen and the ability to apply critical thinking in identifying value propositions for clients.
  • Excellent execution skill and assertiveness to follow through on behalf of customers across Lenovo departments
