COMPANY DESCRIPTION Akbank AG is headquartered in Eschborn, Germany, and its core business areas include corporate banking, trade finance and retail banking. Akbank AG is the successor institution of the German branch of Akbank T.A.Ş. It received its full banking license on 5 April 1998 from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and started providing retail and corporate banking services in Germany. On November 23, 2005, the branch was converted into an Aktiengesellschaft (AG) and registered with the commercial register of Frankfurt am Main. In May 2007, Akbank AG’s shares were transferred to Akbank N.V., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Akbank T.A.Ş. established in 2001 as a Dutch bank under the banking law and regulations of the Netherlands. As a result of the strategic decision to reorganize the European operations of Akbank Group, in particular to use capital and other resources more efficiently, Akbank N.V. was merged into Akbank AG, with the discontinuation of Akbank N.V.’s activities effective from June 15, 2012.

Aufgaben

Role Responsibilities

We are looking for client service managers to support to the relationship management with our corporate clients.
  • The purpose of the role is to support to relationship managers in daily duties, mapping the client’s business at the Bank, identifying areas of opportunity to grow the relationship and supporting day-to-day interaction with the client as well as preparing reports.
  • The client service manager’s responsibilities also include owning client processes such as account plan updates, sales planning, and revenue recognition and tracking progress against sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the relationships for prospective and existing companies and organizations in order to ensure Bank’s maximum profitability.
  • Maintaining a deep knowledge of Bank’s products and services in order to support to the relationship and the clients.
  • Mapping and flowing up daily customer’s requests and instruction in the bank.
  • Supporting the relationship by identifying areas of opportunity to grow the relationship
  • Managing specific client requests and projects, bringing together internal teams from across the firm and/or the client, delivering concrete outcomes.
  • Communicating and reporting the progress of the client’s request to senior management.
  • Maintain and provide quality services
  • Owning client processes such as account plan updates, sales planning, and revenue recognition and tracking progress against sales objectives.
  • Resolving complaints and other issues of clients in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money laundering (AML) requirements in all dealings with existing and potential customers.
Risk Management & Operational Control
  • Keeping updated with Bank’s guidelines for its Risk Management, Compliance, other internal policies and procedures to mitigate financial loss and fraud within the bank, and for operational control of process
  • Gathering information that is needed to prepare and assess credit applications, account opening and other services in order to support the relationship for customer expectations.
  • Identifying areas of improvement in the internal processes and products.
  • Report to Department Management and the relationship the status of businesses, customer complaints, pending issues in respect of the clients.
Profil
  • Proven sales experience 5 to 10 years in a client service role within corporate or commercial banking
  • Good knowledge of Corporate Banking Products
  • Good written and spoken skills in English and German, Turkish will be an asset
  • Degree in management, marketing, or a similar field.
  • Strong documentation and relationship management skills
  • Good people management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Having commercial and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge in structured trade finance, syndication and project financing will be an added advantage
  • Ability to work to deadlines with proven time management skills
  • Leadership and team management skills.
Wir bieten
  • Monthly Salary, 12 times a year
  • If the bank realizes its KPIs and the employee realizes the targets above the given specified level, a bonus payment can made once a year. The bonus distribution decision is made according to the decision of the supervisory board and remuneration committee.
  • Akbank AG supports private pension insurance which is paid of 3,5% of monthly salary per month. 2/3 of this amount will be paid by Akbank AG, 1/3 of this amount will be paid by himself. (It is not mandatory) - Akbank AG personnel have 15 x 6,50 EUR restaurant checks per month.
  • Transportation Costs will be supported 65 EUR / month for Deutsche Bahn / RMV “Named / Transferrable adult annual / monthly ticket.
