In this role, you will lead the Information Systems (IS) Function for the Process Automation (PA) Service business present in Germany.

Key accountability for this position is to continuously build a bridge between PA businesses and the PA IS function to deliver value driven services and solutions.

The Business IS Manager belongs to Process Automation Service business and is responsible for the implementation of global and local service solutions.

Head of Service Process Automation Germany

Your responsibilities
  • Implementing Service tools
  • Supporting business in using IT tools for Service (workshops are also included)
  • Ensuring effective IS alignment and governance across the Service Divisions, in line with ABB way
  • Partnering with division management teams to ensure efficient business relationship management
  • Collaborating closely with IS teams (BA, Division, GBS/Corporate) to ensure effective end-to-end IS operations for Process Automation Service in Germany
  • Being responsible for developing, implementing and running the IS solutions and services within the respective Division
  • Ensuring governance and delivery of common services assigned to Process Automation Service in Germany
Your background
  • Technical studies
  • Understanding of service level agreements and vendor management
  • Deep knowledge of IS/IT processes and tools (preferably Field Service Tools)
  • Experience in system project delivery / service operations (electrification, digital, software business, automation in process and energy industries) as well knowledge of digital solutions, information security and cyber security would be beneficial
  • Strong solution orientation, ability to understand business requirements, owning a helicopter view, portfolio thinking and networking skills
  • Good communication skills (both oral and written) in English and German
