For our staff "IT security - operational data protection" we are looking for aBusiness Continuity Officer (m/f/d)The assignment can take place at our office in Darmstadt, Gießen or Kassel. Another ekom21 location from spring 2024 also in Fulda! From spring 2024 there is the possibility to work at our newly established location in Fulda. The induction will take place at one of our locations in Darmstadt, Gießen or Kassel. Travel time in this regard will be charged as working time. • You will be responsible for planning and building a standard Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) according to BSI 200-4.
• You analyze the framework conditions for the establishment of a BCMS, document them and create a BCM guideline
• The operation and further development of the business continuity management system are part of your tasks
• You build an emergency preparedness concept for ekom21
• The implementation of Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and of target-performance comparisons based on the BIA are part of your tasks

• A degree (Bachelor’s / Master’s) in the field of information security or computer science or comparable qualification based on relevant work experience in the subject areas of.
• Business Continuity Management Officer according to BSI Standard 200-4
• In-depth knowledge and many years of experience in information security management and IT emergency management.
• In-depth knowledge of security and emergency management processes according to BSI-Grundschutz (BSI200-x as well as BSI100-4).
• In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations around information security, such as BSI Law 2.0, KRITIS Regulation, NIS/NIS-2 guidelines, among others.
• Strong process management and project management skills
• Structured and analytical way of working
• Strong interpersonal skills and high communication and motivation skills
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties
• German spoken and written
• Willingness to travel (mainly regional in Hesse)
• Driving license class B
