TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate BI Specialist (all genders) at our locations Bayreuth (GE) or Arnhem (NL) who will contribute to this and that might be you?

Your contribution to TenneT

You have a lot of freedom in the interpretation and implementation of your own ideas, in which inspiring colleagues, being an internal consultant, getting colleagues on board, being a spider in a web and being a driver of sustainable innovation are important. Participating and providing inputs for data integration, transformation of multiple data source systems, develop data warehouses with a combination of business intelligence, data visualization and reporting tools. Next to this, you advocate self-service analytics and give trainings to empower the business to build their own reports, dashboards and power BI models.
  • You supportwith the transitionto a more data-driven working environment, in which the availability of data, the mindset to see the added value of data and the strength to apply this plays a central role
  • You are the sparring partner for your colleagues when it comes to steering their information, where necessary give them a kickstart in the field of BI and help them to communicate the results in an effective manner
  • You proactively support in solving bottlenecks in the self-service BI environment and look for direct applicable solutions together with your fellow business and project controllers
  • Promote your datasets and dashboards in the self-service environment so that your internal stakeholders learn what it means to be truly data-driven
  • Encourage, inspire and support your colleagues as an internal consultant to make them excel in the field of BI

Your profile and background

  • You have a university degree(FH/H) in Information Technology or a comparable qualification
  • You have gained profound job experience in a similar position
  • You bring energy into your work, analytical thinking and you can understand complex processes and make them transparent for the business while having a naturally curious attitude and being a generalist in applying data
  • Thinking in terms of processes and systems, speaking the language of the business and IT and never loosing sight of your colleagues is important in this role
  • Experience with reporting and analytics applications such as Tibco Spotfire, Power BI, Tableau or similar is neccessary, an affinity with Business/Project Controlling is helpful
  • You thrive well in an environment where trust, dialogue and fun are paramount
  • Lastly, you speak English, German or Dutch is a Bonus
