Job Description / Key Skills
  • Good knowledge of Procurement Global Best Practices
  • Proven working experience as a Procurement Associate or similar discipline
  • Effective communication skills, knowledge of local language(s) is a plus
  • Experience of managing Procurement activities in Germany
  • Good knowledge / exposure of ERP(s) or Procure to Pay tools
  • Vendor Management: Discover strong suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships, maintaining relationship, periodic supplier evaluation
  • Negotiation skills: ability to negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Order Management: Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries, ensuring best practices
  • Contract Management: Knowledge of Agreement terms, examining and test existing contracts; Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
  • Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
  • Expect unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
  • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers, experience in collecting and analysing data
  • Any specialization / Certification in Procurement & Supply chain management would be an added advantage
Profiles And Attributes
  • Overall experience of 3-4 years
  • Fluent in German language, spoken and written
  • Bachelor’s Degree and an MBA would be preferred
  • Exposure to corporate presentation, data analysis, spend analytics would be an added advantage
  • Must possess good Excel & power point knowledge
  • Any specialization/Certification in Procurement & Supply chain management would be an added advantage
