Job description

I am currently working with a market leader in Germany who are searching for an Android Mobile Developer experienced in AWS. You will establish the foundation for the quality of our diverse software modules within our APP environment, utilizing SwiftUI and Kotlin. Your wealth of experience will be instrumental in advancing their app.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development:
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and Scrum Master for requirements gathering and validation.
  • Agile development following Scrum and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
  • Design interfaces connecting to databases and other applications in the AWS ecosystem.
  • Implement and co-create innovative features within the app.
  • Sustain and evolve the app’s architecture.

Writing Test Cases:
  • Formulate test cases for software assessment during the task specification phase.
  • Develop test cases encompassing various testing types, covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Integrate these test cases into the deployment process.

CI/CD:
  • Collaboratively craft the software architecture with the entire team, expanding it with CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:
  • A degree in a science or technology field, such as mathematics or computer science, particularly in application development or a related field.
  • Proficiency in app development using SwiftUI and/or Kotlin.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, possibly possessing an AWS certification.
  • Fundamental knowledge of AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with AWS Amplify and the respective SDKs is a plus.
  • Showcase of previously developed apps available in app stores as case studies.
  • Extensive, multi-year experience in crafting modern mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of common UX/UI methodologies.
  • Ability to quickly identify and address technical challenges, classifying software and system requirements from various domains.
  • Independent, structured, goal-oriented project management skills, combined with a collaborative and solution-oriented team approach.
