Analyst (m/f/d) Corporate Finance (Diversified Industrials Sector Team)

As a new starter M&A Analyst in the Diversified Industrials sector team in Frankfurt you will work closely with senior bankers in the industry and M&A / ECM product teams on the execution and origination of investment banking mandates. This includes a wide variety of tasks, such as financial statement analysis, financial modeling, company and industry research, preparation of client presentations, deal documentations, etc.

Assisting in execution and origination of M&A, ECM and financing mandates with corporate and private equity clients globally

• Involved in industry and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuations and financial modelling
• Involved in the preparation and pitching of presentations for clients

Keep up to date about Diversified Industrials and M&A, as well as equity and debt related issues

Strong involvement in day-to-day project executions, including leadership of specific project tasks and work streams

• Valuation and financial modelling and carrying out of due diligence
• Support preparation of marketing materials / analysis of marketing materials
• Assist in developing transaction structures and in process management
• Training and guidance of interns

Technical skills

• Graduated with a Bachelor or Master in Economics, Finance, Management, or a related discipline with outstanding academic performance (candidates with a technical background are very welcome)
• Prior internships or full-time experience within a leading corporate finance adviser, investment bank or consultant with focus on M&A execution
• Strong financial modeling skills: ability to build financial models and financial projections and analyze the impact of proposed transaction options on the capital structure and cash flows
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ideally good command / knowledge of Bloomberg / Capital IQ / Datastream / Thomson Reuters
• Fluency in English and German, basic understanding of French is an advantage but not required
