For our Trading-department at our location in Hamburg HafenCity we are looking for a

(Junior) Distillate Trader - Europe (all genders)

Your tasks:

European Distillates team is responsible for the supply optimization of Germany and UK markets. The team stays responsive to the changing global market conditions and gets the best value out of global markets daily. Therefore, we collaborate closely with various teams in the organization and communicate proactively within global offices.

  • Supporting Senior Traders on systems and trades
  • Understanding and coordinating the team’s trading exposure and liaise with product control team to validate daily PnL fluctuations
  • Managing and executing the daily hedging for the trading book
  • Monitoring the global distillate markets and keeping close communication with the analysis team to have a deep fundamental understanding on the distillate markets globally
  • Finding and exploring ways to bring technical models into trading

Your skills:

  • Master’s degree (or above) with first relevant industry (Trading/Analyst/Operations) experience
  • Ability to strive for the best possible solution in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional analytical capacities with strong communicational skills
  • Strong and focused attention to details
  • Business fluent English, German skills are a plus
