Together with our customers, HPC develops innovative and efficient transport processes for sustainable success. In the digital age, ports and terminals are evolving into networked information hubs. As a (Junior) Consultant with a focus on digitalisation, you will drive the development and digitalisation of ports and terminals at HPC. It is your task to jointly develop our customers’ goals, find solutions and derive recommendations for action. At the interface between business units and IT, you will be responsible for the needs-based technical implementation of digitalisation projects. You will work in a multidisciplinary team of experienced, highly motivated and curious experts. Our teams combine industry experience and innovation.

What you can expect
- You analyse business processes and identify pain points
- You design solutions from a technical and business perspective to optimise the execution of projects
- You develop recommendations for action for processes and IT systems including process modelling
- You specify and prioritise requirements for operational and administrative IT systems
- You develop integration concepts for different IT systems
- You carry out and evaluate IT system tenders
- You implement, optimise and measure the success of digitalisation projects
- You support the development of digitalisation strategies
What you bring to the table
- Successfully completed technical or business studies, e.g. in the fields of logistics, (business) mathematics, business administration, business informatics or (business) engineering or a comparable academic degree
- Strong analytical, conceptual and process-oriented thinking skills
- High IT affinity and business understanding
- You can confidently carry out projects in German and English and have a professional demeanour towards our customers; additional foreign language skills are advantageous
- Open-minded, structured and solution-orientated and enjoy finding solutions in a team
- First professional experience in process analysis, requirements engineering and in the port industry is an advantage
- Willingness to travel globally
