We are currently hiring a young professional to join the Product Specialist team in Frankfurt.

AllianzGI’s equities business manages €177 billion in assets under management. As part of the Product Specialist team based in Frankfurt, you will support communication between Portfolio Managers and the wider business, including colleagues in sales, client reporting, and marketing. The successful candidate will support entire process of originating and creating product information. Key tasks include writing fund commentary, compiling promotional material, competitor research and using data to craft relevant investment stories.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn and an existing interest in economics/financial markets. Most importantly, we are looking for a structured thinker, with an ability to articulate ideas clearly in a range of formats.

Key Responsibilites

• Support the Product Specialists in the entire process to originate product information with focus on the investment process, performance explanation, portfolio holdings and illustration of the investment case
• Prepare and ensure consistency of the required presentation material for Product Specialists and Fund Managers at marketing events, as well as client and consultant meetings
• Actively support the writing and articulation of portfolio relevant commentaries for regular client reporting and marketing material and ensure timely delivery
• Interact with the global AllianzGI Product Specialist and Sales Teams to support the global representation of focus products in the relevant marketing formats
• Regular interaction with Portfolio Managers to ensure the correct delivery of investment related messages in marketing material
• Assist the Product Specialists with the dissemination of product information to internal and external clients
• Perform and interpret qualitative and quantitative analysis including performance attribution analyses, risk analyses, peer group analyses and others
• Support the development, implementation and maintenance of internal tools used for generating reporting and product presentations
  
  

Key Requirements/ Skills/ Experience

• University or equivalent degree
• Demonstrable interest in economics/finance and/or particularly equity investing
• Excellent writing and communication skills in German and English, additional language skills are a plus
• Excellent organization skills
• Curiosity and proactiveness in challenging the status quo
• Ability to stay focused and work under time pressure to meet deadlines
• Confident presenter
• Experience in working with tools such as MS Office Excel and Powerpoint, Bloomberg is a plus
• Programming skills (MS office, VBA, SAS, R, Python) advantageous
