仕事内容
Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams suchen wir ab sofort eine*n Werkstudent*in für 20 Stunden pro Woche. Dabei setzt Du Deine Programmierkenntnisse ein, um die Arbeit zur Kombination von maschinellem Lernen mit TCAD (Technology Computer Aided Design) weiterzuentwickeln. Du kombinierst TCAD-Simulationen mit Messdaten, um zu ermitteln, was die wichtigsten Faktoren für die Prozessvariabilität sind.
Die Aufgaben umfassen:
Datenanalyse für Machine Learning und Modellextraktion
Skripting für die Konvertierung von Prozess- und Bauelementesimulationsdecks
Datenanalyse von konventionellen Transistormessungen
Das Ergebnis werden klare zusammenfassende Berichte und ein sauberer, stabiler Code sein.
Erforderliche Qualifikationen
Du studierst im Bachelor / Master / Diplom (d.h. ein Student im Grundstudium wäre akzeptabel) im Studienfach Informatik, Ingenieurwesen oder Naturwissenschaften.
Du hast ein grundlegendes Verständnis von maschinellem Lernen.
Du bist gut im Codieren und hast gute Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Linux und Windows.
Du hast gute organisatorische und kommunikative Fähigkeiten.
Du beherrschst die englische Sprache (in Wort und Schrift).
Kenntnisse in der Halbleiterphysik oder Elektronik sind wünschenswert, aber nicht zwingend erforderlich.
Zeitlicher Rahmen
Ab sofort, für mindestens 12 Monate
Bis zu 20h/Woche während des Semesters, bis zu 40h/Woche in den Semesterferien

Introduction
The Technology Computer Aided Design team is a multinational team, with members from various places of the world with experience in state of the art simulation techniques – we use software to mimic the wafer processing and the electrical behavior of the transistors.
Your Job
To strengthen our team we are seeking a Working Student available for 20 hours per week, available to start now. You will use your programming skills to develop our work on combining machine learning with TCAD (Technology Computer Aided Design). We are developing techniques for optimizing across a very large number of inputs and outputs, and you would combine TCAD simulations with measured data, to determine what are the key contributors to process variability.
The tasks include:
data analysis for machine learning and model extraction
scripting for conversion of process and device simulation decks
data analysis of conventional transistor measurements
The output will be clear summary reports, and clean, stable code.
Required Qualifications
You are studying for a Bachelor / Master / Diploma (i.e. an undergraduate student would be acceptable). Your area of study is computer science or engineering or hard sciences.
You have a fundamental understanding of machine learning.
You are good at writing code and you have a good command of Linux and Windows.
You have good organizational and communication skills.
You have good command of the English language (written and spoken).
It is desirable to have some knowledge on semiconductor physics or electronics, although this is not a hard requirement.
Time Period
Immediately, for at least 12 months
Up to 20h/week during the semester, up to 40h/week during the semester break
