THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a VP, Client Sales & Success to our Client Sales team in Munich!
YOUR IMPACT
The VP Client Sales & Success - Germany role is a key role for our organization in one of our most strategic markets. This role will lead our German Enterprise Business and will be responsible for managing a high-performing commercial team. You will be expected to bring in significant new business to Gympass, support the team to manage complex negotiations, ensure top-quality service to our clients, manage renegotiations with our portfolio of existing clients and contribute to the company’s success as well as supporting the members of the team with their development. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team in a market that is really gaining momentum on B2B sales and is excited to have a game-changer candidate to take them to the next level.
You will:
- Lead the Enterprise business for Germany, with a focus on building the clear market leader in Corporate Wellbeing in Germany
- Lead the Commercial strategy for Germany, with a focus on how to increase the speed of opportunities through the sales funnel and how to implement local sales strategy within a global matrix structure
- Building the strategic agenda of our Sales & Success teams in partnership with the local regional leaders, including setting goals and objectives according to corporate targets.
- Be a role model to the Client Sales & Success teams with your drive to maximize our sales pipeline by managing prospects through complex sales processes and managing the most complex renegotiations with the existing clients
- Recruit, manage, retain, and develop the Commercial team and coach them side by side also during clients meeting
- Position yourself as a thought leader in the HR & Wellbeing space, leveraging and creating content to engage HR leaders
- Continuously seek opportunities to network with senior prospects and clients at external/industry forums
Your Client Sales team will:
- Engage with potential clients to explain the Gympass concept and understand how it might align with their business objectives
- Map the decision-making process of each prospect in order to optimize conversions at each stage
- Develop and own customized proposals for each prospect, according to their needs and interests
- Lead contract negotiations, drafting of contracts and closing of contracts incl. process management with IT, GDPR, Legal and Procurement
Your Client Success team will:
- Own the client relationship for a large portfolio of key accounts (B2B) after the point of sale throughout the client lifecycle, including leading all client meetings
- Renew, expand and renegotiate contracts on an annual basis with the aim of increasing the sales of the portfolio.
- Become a trusted and valued partner to HR contacts as you share their mission to improve employee health, engagement, and happiness
- Understand clients’ business and wellbeing objectives and drive the strategic account development by delivering solutions to help them throughout the onboarding process and beyond by developing client-specific growth strategies
- Plan initial client launch as well as ongoing, strategic relaunch and awareness events; partner with the Gympass Engagement team to assist in end-to-end implementation
- Work with a broad range of internal stakeholders (Engagement, Customer Experience, Operations, User Growth Marketing, Fitness Partnerships, and Business Development) to develop member growth strategies and deliver on client and company goals
- Analyze client data; share findings, and develop tailored communication and awareness strategies to increase user engagement to better defeat inactivity
WHO YOU ARE
- 8+ years of proven work experience in similar positions;
- Mandatory 8+ years of experience in SaaS sales or HR consulting / Employee benefits firms
- Proven track record of closing large B2B deals
- Significant experience in leading high performing teams
- You will be a strong communicator with a Native level of German and fully fluent in English, with an ability to problem solve and react to challenges with a hands-on approach
- Strategic and able to analyze current ways of working, drawing conclusions, and identifying areas to improve
- Positive attitude and great team spirit
