About Us

Arriver™ is a new software unit and brand, fully focused on developing perception, fusion and drive policy software for the next generation cars. It will deliver an open, scalable and flexible architecture solution running on Qualcomm® Snapdragon Ride™ System on a Chip (SoC) platform. Arriver™ has 800 people in 5 countries – China, Germany, Romania, Sweden, USA – and builds on more than a decade of experience in active safety software development. The company is wholly owned by Veoneer.

What you’ll do?
  • Working together with development teams across different product areas to drive alignment and common handling on software architecture and system level design
  • Lead and guide technical investigations and decisions and the development of key concepts across the organization in terms of System and Software
  • Primary interface for discussions on architecture and system level design with internal customers (product areas) to improve reusability, scalability and harmonization of architecture elements
  • Responsibility for the community activity structure ( workshops, trainings,…), meetings, community backlog, as well as responsibility to disseminate key technical information/decisions to the organization
What You’ll Bring
  • University degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
  • Experience in systems engineering developing embedded software systems and architecture
  • Knowledge in software development (AUTOSAR)
  • Good knowledge in electronics hardware, microprocessors, and its relation to software
  • Experience in the automotive industry and knowledge in ADAS/AD
  • Knowledge in safety-critical systems applying functional safety standards (ISO 26262)
  • Very good in teamwork, self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Ability to set the technical direction and guide a team
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Fluent English language skills mandatory, German/Swedish a plus
  • Experience in an agile software development, methods and way of working is a plus
