Staiy’s overarching mission is to accelerate the transition towards sustainable fashion and restoring timeless values by implementing the latest tools. Innovative technologies, materials, concepts and production practices meet in a contemporary platform that reflects the modern consumer.

Aspects like Water, Air, Materials, Work Conditions and Supply chain are the pillars upon which Staiy evaluates the sustainability of its brands, taking a step beyond standard evaluations to assess the broader picture. Artificial Intelligence signifies digital progress, and is implemented by Staiy to smoothen the approach to sustainable fashion. The personalization algorithm of Staiy uses the universal language of images, scanning product pictures and detecting their style, to then match items with the individual style of the consumer.

The Staiy marketplace believes in the power of fashion as a means to make a statement. The platform stands to renew the importance of this dimension, connecting brands and clients through the rediscovery of sustainable craftsmanship, inspiring stories of innovation and respect - in a perfect balance of reciprocal value.

Tasks

• Support the consulting and research teams on a variety of corporate, product, and supply chain sustainability issues including but not limited to: conducting literature reviews; collecting, organizing and analyzing data;
• Source for relevant datasets
• Complete calculations as required to support the sustainability projects
• Keep organized records to support the results
• Communicate results clearly and concisely
• Carefully document research and work progress
• Assist in editing and compiling reports and presentations and related deliverables
• Projects related to PEF, GHG Emissions and ESG Accounting
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in the following areas: Engineering/ Fashion supply chain/ Chemical engineering/ Material Science / Sustainability management / Resource & Energy management
• Skills in consulting, project management, and research are a plus
• Willingness to take full ownership of projects/tasks and their KPIs
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint and/or Google workspace apps
• Knowledge of life cycle thinking approaches
• Familiarity with LCIA methods and software is a plus
• Eagerness to learn & improve at a rapid pace
• Independent worker with little demand for direction
• Professional knowledge of English both written and oral
• Ready to work at least 20 hours per week - ideally 40 hours per week and to dive into the sphere of sustainability
