General Summary
The Staff Manager, GTM & Sales Operations will be responsible for managing and growing revenue with large strategic accounts. This person will collaborate closely with colleagues worldwide and be responsible for the regional strategy and execution to drive the sale of Qualcomm’s portfolio of Digital Cockpit, Connectivity, and ADAS/AD products to Automotive OEM’s and Tier-1s.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will establish and manage relationships across all levels within the EMEA region. He or she will engage with product marketing, sales and customer program teams in the regions as well as with the technical, product, and operation teams at Qualcomm headquarters. Key responsibilities will include introducing and promoting Qualcomm products within the Automotive sector, along with managing go-to-market design & sales planning.
Skills/Experience
The candidate will have had extensive experience in developing and executing the go-to-market plan with new and existing customers. She or he will have managed developing relationships at large, complex organizations globally. Experience in selling components, systems, and solutions to Automotive OEMs and the understanding of the complexity of E/E architectures is required.
8+ years of sales, product management or business development of complex technology products in Automotive electronics
Knowledge of global dynamics of Tier-1s, OEMs and semiconductor companies
Strategic account management expertise, the ability to manage change and the desire to operate effectively cross-functional as well as across organizations and customers
Deep knowledge and experience in developing and deploying business growth strategies
Comprehensive understanding in optimizing the cooperation between the go-to-market teams and internal stakeholders
Expert technical understanding and hands-on experience in Automotive electronics
Proficient and detailed understanding of supply chain, product development and marketing of compute products
Experience in negotiating and managing NRE and component pricing with large Automotive OEMs
Ability to communicate, educate and evangelize both internally and externally
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills
Self-motivated and result-driven
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in business or technology preferred
10+ years in sales, business development, product management or related work experience
2+ years in a leadership role
5+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with direct experience in In-vehicle Infotainment (IVI)/ Digital Cockpit or ADAS/AD
Ideally, work experience at an Auto Tier-1 or Tier-2
