Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:


  • Build, drive and implement Brand Partnership horizontal and functional processes, milestones and projects to support and enable Brand strategy and seasonal planning in support of the adidas Brand’s portfolio of partnerships across Sport, Culture and our Licenses business, in the process acting as a strategic advisor, project lead and occasional sparring partner for the SVP of Brand Partnerships

Key Responsibilities:


  • Create, drive and govern Brand Partnerships-led processes and milestones to support and align seasonal and functional portfolio planning including budgeting milestones, brand strategy and functional strategy development.
  • Manage Head Office relationships across the full community of Brand Partnerships area leads, category Sports Marketing leads and Culture Marketing leads to ensure consistent planning and execution of Brand Partenrship-led initiatives and projects.
  • Lead the constant improvement and management of business processes; ensuring an excellence in both approach and implementation.
  • Lead and coordinate the Head Office team in the management and completion of key Brand Partnerships projects and initiatives.
  • Act as chief council for the SVP of Brand Partnerships providing vision and insight for short, mid, and long term opportunities and strategic opportunities.
  • Drive functional strategic initiatves, manage & coordinate stragic projects within Brand Partnerships and funtuional area, being sure to lead to successful implementation.
  • Drive collaboration between Brand Partnerships Team (and by extension Sports Marketing, Culture Marketing and Licensee teams) and Brand organization, as well as other functions.
  • Prepare the SVP Brand Partnershios for all horizontal brand milestones, process meetings and other internal and external meetings as required.
  • Lead, and/or coordinate the preparation and organization of SVP Brand Partnerships presentations and meetings.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:


  • Marketing (sports marketing or brand marketing) or high level Consultancy/Strategy development background with proven experience in project management
  • Universtiy Degree preferably with Marketing or Business Administration focus.
  • Ideally 10+ years of relevant work experience in marketing/brand
  • Proven track record across various functions, divisions and activites
  • Minimum of 6 years managerial experience of diverse and international teams in a matrix organization
  • 4-5 years direct working relationships with key markets/regions or 2-3 years working in a focus adidas market.
