For our client, Knauf Group, a family-owned manufacturer and distributor of systems for drywall, flooring, plaster and facades, operating in more than 100 countries we are looking for a talented Senior QA Engineer (m/f/d). Currently, we are building up an innovation department for our locations in Munich, Iphofen and Katowice (Poland), where talented people can join our mission.

Tasks

Your challenge

As a Senior QA Engineer you are more than the gate to the software release. You are a quality champion empowering teams to create performant and secure systems. Guided by the “automate everything” principle you mix automated and manual testing to efficiently cover the system’s functionality.

What You’ll Do
  • You shape the testing instruments by working with IT to run your tests
  • You lead the design of guidelines to improve the development process
  • You continuously improve the firm’s quality standards
  • You report to the developing team to help build a functioning product after sprints
  • You develop product quality standards in close collaboration with product owner

Requirements
  • Around 3-5 years of professional experience in the QA, test, or automation field
  • Experienced in website automation testing
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Java is a plus
  • You have a “desire to break” and find hidden requirements and edge cases
  • You are familiar with manual acceptance testing at story level, exploratory and creative testing, and within fast-paced sprint cycles
  • You can develop integration, performance, and load-bearing tests
  • You have experience implementing automated end-to-end tests using frameworks and tools such as BDD, Selenium and the ability to code in Javascript, Python and SQL
