(SENIOR) MANAGER SPORTS MARKETING - FOOTBALL

Are you a passionate football fan? Do you have experience in the sports industry and are looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking a Sports Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving our football Next Gen strategy across Europe.

As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with PUMA’s most relevant football players and serve as their primary contact within the company. Your key responsibilities will include managing partnerships and sponsorships, as well as coordinate our scouting network. You will need to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Additionally, you will be expected to travel approximately 30-40% of the time throughout Europe.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in the sports industry, specifically in sports brands, football clubs, federations or football agencies. Fluency in English is a must, and additional languages will be heavily valued. • Negotiation of sponsoring agreements with International relevant football players and with football players
• Develop and ensure implementation of the Next Gen strategy for PUMA Football
• Implementation of the Next Gen strategy together with regional and local markets
• Manage and coordinate the external football scouts contracted to PISM
• Support the overall Teamsport Sports Marketing department to ensure sports marketing strategy and business plan is implemented
• Servicing and management of football players
• Track and monitor the product utilization process of contracted football players incl. forecasting, order placement, order tracking, database management
• Assist international marketing team in developing and implementing the player utilization plans
• Together with Teamsport Product Line Management and Development teams proactively involve key football players in the product development process
• Ensure contract management of the international player portfolio together with line manager in collaboration with the international finance, accounting and legal departments.

• University degree with a focus on Marketing or Sports
• Functional: 3-5 years’ experience in the Sports marketing Industry (football clubs, football federations, sport brands, football agencies…)
• High passion, knowledge, and interest for football is a must
• Availability to travel frequently. Between 40 and 60% of travelling time is required
• Fluency in English is a must. Other languages like German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese… are a big plus
