Senior Business Development Manager Wanted – Help Shape Iron Mountain’s Future!

Thanks to our aggressive growth plans, Iron Mountain is rapidly scaling up several of its teams across Europe. In Germany alone, we have a plan to increase our business six-fold by 2026 and are working vigorously toward our company objective to reach $10 billion in total revenue by 2027.

Iron Mountain’s Global Records and Information Management Organization (GRO) is a revenue-driving commercial organization that focuses on developing, selling, and supporting solutions for customers in our regions and key global vertical industries that enable them to transform their business.

To help us achieve our bold growth initiatives, we are eagerly in search of a Senior Business Development Manager to join our Sales team in Germany. The primary purpose of the role is to increase sales of our Records Management, Data Management and Digital Solutions.

This high-profile role will report to Ralf Reich, our Commercial VP for Northern Europe and also the Managing Director for Germany.

What You Will Do

  • Generate Digital Solutions revenue from a nominated list of target accounts
  • Oversee commercial tenders, retenders, and price negotiations across nominated accounts
  • Position and sell solutions to address Corporate Customers Information Management needs
  • Accountable for new business revenue growth within the defined range of new and existing customers
  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual targets
  • Drive growth strategy across nominated list of target customers and prospects
  • Develop and implement key sales strategies and plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of critical business strategies

What You Will Bring

  • Strong background and proven experience in strategic new business generation, sales processing and solution selling
  • Fluent language skills in both German and English
  • Proficient in developing solutions that map to customer requirements
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate
  • Capable of making decisions and thinking in broad terms, considering the impact to the entire company
  • Experience selling within the Financial Services, Healthcare or Manufacturing sectors a distinct advantage
